A continuous knotted line covers these boxes.
They can be rearranged in almost a million different ways,
but in only one way will the line lie unbroken across their surfaces.

Boxes - 1996

A limited edition multiple signed and numbered by the artist.
Twelve boxes printed in an edition of 100 each.
Six couples, positive - negative mirror images.
The works shift between the two dimensional and the three dimensional.
Once folded into boxes, they can be arranged like a tiling puzzle in many different ways;
horizontally or vertically, using some couples, or all couples, or more than one set of twelve,
to create different patterns.

ZEBRA is a boxed set of 96 original linocuts, comprising 48 pairs,
printed by the artist Zoe Keramea at Printmaking Workshop in New York, in a limited edition of 120 sets,
signed and numbered.

Placed face down the squares become a challenging memory game; placed face up,
they are transformed into an equally difficult puzzle.
